Some more fun with the pups

Day 9 and when i adjusted Stinker's collar, he had 1 eye beginning to open! he was winking at me! lol I also was looking at my stats and realized that he is not #2 in size but #3. Still that's pretty amazing when coming from behind the way he did! The tan pup is actually #2 in size.
Bad Boy is going to be a big boy. He's got some really nice bone on him.
I've stopped weighing the pups after day 7 but will try yet again when they are 2 weeks old. they are squiggly little things and dont care to stay in the box too well. Thou I really think that Bad Boy is still the heaviest. I have noticed that he also tends to sleep with his tongue hanging out. This is a puppy thing so no worries. It is pretty adorable thou. And its cupped like when they are nursing on Mama.
I cant really tell on colors any more but my 2 lightish pups still have a tinge of "tan". Goldie has lost her red hue. She's more brown than anything else. We will see how it all turns out. I prefer not to mark the color on the AKC paperwork until they are 6 months old (the earliest you should send it in) but I may go ahead and mark them if I know for sure.
Mama is chomping at the bit to have some real fun. It's too bad that it snowed this morning. HUH? where'd this snow come from? I thought we were in Spring already!
Anyway, I'll be able to get her back in training for Dock Dogs. How many events she can do until her next litter, I have not a clue. She wont be able to do any until the pups are gone, however. But we can always play and train here at home.
OK back to the puppies.
I noticed this evening, Sunday, that a few of the pups are trying to waddle in the whelping box! its so cute!
And the pup with both eyes open, still cant really see, but they are both open is Stinker! SO ADORABLE! I'll try to get pics later.
